We protect the flame inside us

the one that rises when we stop pretending we are not changing.

We take responsibility for the direction we turn
for the story we choose next
for the reality our choices set in motion.

We do not follow the paths that were handed to us.
We step into the unknown and let it shape us.
We let the shift become our teacher.
We let it reveal who we were meant to be.

And by moving with courage
we show others that their lives can move too
that nothing is fixed
that everything can be rewritten.
