“Having a voice in the world is important for so many reasons. It allows us to share our unique experiences and perspectives, and to have a say in the issues that matter to us. It’s a way for us to connect with others and to be heard and understood.
Having a voice is also about empowerment. It allows us to stand up for ourselves and to advocate for the things we believe in. It gives us the ability to make a difference and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
In short, having a voice is a fundamental human right, and it’s something that we should all strive to have and to use in a positive, meaningful way.”
After a full first season of the Firestarters Podcast, I can honestly say I’ve found my voice, but not how you would expect.
That idea of “voice” is the thread that runs through everything here.
The studio exists as a physical place where ideas can land and take shape. The podcast exists as a space for conversation and shared perspective.
And Behind the Fire exists as the reflective layer in between. A moment to slow down, look inward, and make sense of what’s unfolding while the work is still in motion.
Together, they form a simple philosophy: creating environments where people can explore who they are, what they’re building, and how their story is evolving (…) not after everything is finished, but while it’s still being written.
